Tonight is New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately I will not be staying up. This is because the following morning I am getting up nice and early so that we can get to the airport on time, as we are leaving for our holiday in Queensland :D. I might be able to get internet up there, but then again I might not, so it is possible that I won’t be able to post again for quite a while. This is bad, so I must leave you with something interesting. Hmm… The Game. No, not that game. Not the one which you just lost. Just an interesting, albeit odd and sick, game shown to me by Bluemonkey…

Party!

Posted on: October 7, 2008

At the moment I am sitting watching people play games at AtlanticSlamon’s party.

Well, not any more. When I started writing this post I was, but that was over three weeks ago. I haven’t blogged for quite a while. I got all motivated before, and then I forgot again. Not good form…

Anyway, Slammer’s party was good. Lots of video games to play.

The other day I went to Gizmolio’s 3/4 Birthday Party, which was equally as nerdy, but with a larger focus on computer games and LAN gaming.

That was just my little post to keep the blog going. I have some more ideas for posts, so hopefully I remember to write them soon 🙂

At school, as part of the subject “Be Money Wise”, a couple of my friends and I a team in the Stock Market Game, which is an online game run by the ASX (Australian Securities Exchange). There are one hundred companies represented in the game, and each of their share prices follow the actual real-life prices. You are given a hypothetical $50,000 to invest, and the person or team which makes the most money by trading stocks wins. It is a lot of fun, but we were quite annoyed to find that the one company we invested in as a safe and steady money maker, BHP Billiton, is the only one that lost money. The ones which are not as safe are still making us money. Go figure. Anyway, I hope that wasn’t too boring, but I didn’t have a lot else to talk about, and I am aiming for one blog post every day, but it is more likely to be every second or third day. Oh well, it’s good to be optimistic.
